B.S.N Tracks and Specializations
B.S.N. Track: for Registered Nurses entering the program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.)
Students who enter the program with a bachelor’s degree in nursing complete the following core curriculum and then progress onto the courses in one of the M.S. program in Nursing specializations.

R.N Tracks and Specializations
R.N. Track: for Registered Nurses with a hospital diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) or bachelor's degree (other than B.S.N.)
Applicants who have a diploma, A.D.N., or bachelor's degree in a discipline other than nursing, and are licensed registered nurses may be accepted in the M.S. program in Nursing, provided they fulfill the general education requirements. Once applicants meet these requirements, they are admitted to Walden and begin taking the foundational courses. Students then progress on to the M.S. in Nursing core curriculum, the specialization courses, and finally, the capstone courses.
