Bachelor of Science in Education/Elementary (BSEd-E)
The BSEd-E program is a degree program leading to teacher licensure. The guiding philosophy of the BSEd-E program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge that will allow them to become competent and effective elementary school educators.
Student teaching is an integral component of the program. t provides students with a field-based experience and growth opportunities that best prepare them to assume the duties of a certified classroom teacher.
Note : This program is currently available only in the state of Arizona.
The Master of Arts in Education (MAED) Program
The MAED program is designed to enhance and refine the skills of teachers, counselors, administrators, and trainers. University of Phoenix Online offers this advanced degree program to provide an educational framework that supports the advancement, application, and integration of relevant theory and concepts. Four areas of specialization provide an in-depth examination of content, skills and knowledge to address the specific needs of educators. The curriculum is current, based in theory and working practice, application-oriented, and sensitive to cultural diversity.
