The Norwich University Master of Education (M.Ed.) program is designed for educational professionals who aspire to refine their instructional techniques, develop advanced leadership skills, obtain greater knowledge, and become educator leaders who are highly employable as quality teachers and administrators for America’s schools. The program offers three areas of concentration: School Administration, Educator Leader, and Education Technology. All three areas have been designed with the concept of leadership development in mind.
It is important to emphasize that the M.Ed. program is a professional studies program and does NOT lead to licensure or certification.
The program is comprised of 36 credits, or six consecutive seminars of six credits each. The 36 credit curriculum builds context over 18 months. The coursework is followed by a one-week residency and graduation at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
