Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies

California State University at Northridge now offers its highly regarded Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) program entirely online. You can earn your Master of Arts in Educational Administration and California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential while continuing to fulfill your current work and family responsibilities.
CSUN’s Michael D. Eisner College of Education and The Roland Tseng College of Extended Learning have collaborated to create an online program that includes theory, empirical research, best practices, case studies, practical application, and fieldwork. Designed to promote reflection, critical thinking and excellence, our ELPS program produces graduates who are well qualified for leadership roles in public and private educational institutions.
Additionally, we encourage our graduates to be lifelong learners prepared to practice in an ever-changing, multi-cultural world.
Courses Delivery Format
Online. This program incorporates sophisticated multiple distance learning technologies (discussion boards, chat forums, e-mail) with traditional instruction such as text readings, lectures, quizzes, tests, discussions, and assignments.
Requirement
To apply for admission, at least one of the following options need to be fulfilled: undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, OR a passing score (50th percentile or higher) in one of the three areas of the GRE, OR a raw score of 50 or better on the MAT.
