This degree program, with its component of business, finance, management, and accounting courses and its specialization in IT, prepares graduates to be managers in computer technology. Graduates are qualified for positions as systems analysts, computer center managers, and sales and marketing representatives with opportunity for advancement to management level

Educational Goals for the Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology
The program will:
  • provide students with knowledge of current information technology, the foundation knowledge of business operations and practices, the analytical skills to determine the information needs of a business and the problem-solving skills to apply technology to meet those requirements.
  • provide students with methods to analyze, design, implement and maintain computer-based information systems to support the decision-making function of management.
