Indiana State University College of Nursing is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60602-2504) and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (61 Broadway, New York, NY 10006).

Founded in 1865 in Terre Haute, Indiana, Indiana State University is rated one of the best colleges in the Midwest by The Princeton Review. Basketball legend Larry Bird is just one of a long list of noted alumni. ISU’s School of Nursing, which is accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN), was established in 1963 and has distinguished itself as one of the nation’s premier nursing programs.
Indiana State University offers accredited courses, degrees, and professional development programs via distance learning. Many courses and programs can be completed entirely via distance learning. Other "distance friendly" offerings require minimal on-campus visits. Out-of-state opportunities are available for numerous programs.
